In general, ABS material is more resistant to high temperature than PP material.
The thermal deformation temperature of ABS plastic (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene) is 93~118 ℃, and the products can be increased by about 10 ℃ after annealing, the melting temperature is 217~237 ℃, and the thermal decomposition temperature is above 250 ℃. And ABS materials have two types of temperature resistance, ordinary ABS plastic can withstand high temperatures of 80 degrees Celsius, and high heat-resistant ABS materials can withstand high temperatures of up to 97 degrees Celsius.
PP (polypropylene) material melting point is higher, about 164~170 degrees. But under normal circumstances, PP material can withstand the highest temperature of about 100 degrees. Although some specially modified PP materials can withstand higher temperatures, in general applications, their high temperature resistance is still not as good as ABS materials.
